Yukon Quest & Yukon
Yukon Quest, "The Toughest Sled Dog Race in the World" - From Whitehorse, Yukon Territory to Fairbanks, Alaska, following the historical mail and gold mining trails. Yukon Quest 300, Fairbanks - Circle or Whitehorse - Pelly Crossing. A qualifying race for the Iditarod and Yukon Quest.
American Dog Derby, Ashton, Idaho - Features a 100, 60, and 40 mile race including an eight mile Junior Race, held each February.
Eagle Cap Extreme, Joseph, Oregon. Oregon's only Iditarod Qualifier, always held on the third weekend in January. This race travels through some of the most scenic country in Oregon, and is a great trainer and challenge for all teams.
Race to the Sky, Montana's 350 Mile Sled Dog Race held each February, with a symposium for mushers held the weekend after Labor Day each year.
